Lianna Mark is a LAHP-funded PhD candidate and Teaching Assistant in English at King’s College, London. She completed her postgraduate studies in Modern, Comparative and Postcolonial Literatures at the University of Bologna and the University of Paris-Sorbonne (Paris IV), and holds a BA in European Literature from the University of Bologna. Her doctoral research explores the practice of dramatic and institutional storytelling in recent British 'new writing' and its ethical and political implications. She has published in the Journal of Contemporary Drama in English. Alongside her academic work, she has taught in a number of language schools and worked as a literary translator for Arnoldo Mondadori Editore.
