Jonathan Meth is Director of The Fence international network of playwrights and cultural operators, which he set up in 2003. In 2019, it numbers 250 people from 50 countries and has met 25 times. 2019 meetings are planned for Graz, Sofia and Atlanta. http://www.the-fence.net/about.aspx He lectures on the MA in Arts Administration and Cultural Policy at the Institute for Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship at Goldsmiths, University of London, where he also ran the MA in Writing for Performance and Dramaturgy (2013-15). He is currently Visiting Fellow at the Department of Film, Theatre & Television at the University of Reading (2017-20). From 2014-17, Jonathan was Project Dramaturg on Crossing The Line – a Creative Europe funded European collaboration between Mind The Gap (Bradford), Moomsteatern (Malmo), and Compagnie de L’Oiseau Mouche (Roubaix). His Chapter on Crossing The Line will be published in the forthcoming On Dramaturgy: Unpacking Diversity and Inclusion, Case Studies From the Field, due for publication by Routledge in early 2019. He is continuing his work as Project Dramaturg on the Erasmus+ funded Ogmius project 2018-22. Jonathan is Chair of Vital Xposure, a touring theatre company operating under the creative leadership of disabled artist Julie McNamara which promotes hidden voices with extraordinary stories to tell. Previously Jonathan was Director of writernet in London 1994-2009 during which time he put together the EU Culture funded Janus project (2005-06) led by West Yorkshire Playhouse. He is currently also working as dramaturg on new pieces by Vici Wreford-Sinnott and Pauline Heath at The Arc in Stockton and with playwright Yves Baigneres and Director Giles Croft.
