As a performer Jennifer has worked with the NT, BAC, Bath Theatre Royal, Royal & Derngate Theatre (Argus Angel winner at The Brighton Festival), Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, The Lowry, Theatre 503, Arcola, Openworks Theatre, Derby Theatre, The Yard, The Harold Pinter Theatre (West End), Southwark Playhouse, Bervaldhallen (Stockholm), Lucas Theatre (Savannah, USA), Pearl Theatre (New York). 

Recent Movement direction includes: Death of a Salesman, Queens of the Coal Age, Our Town (Royal Exchange Theatre), Parliament Square (Bush Theatre & Royal Exchange Theatre), Mayfly (Orange Tree), Island Town/ Sticks and Stones/ How to Spot an Alien (Paines Plough), The Mountaintop (The Young Vic), Black Mountain/ How to be a Kid /Out of Love (Paines Plough & Orange Tree), She is a Leverhulme Arts Scholar and an associate artist with OpenWorks Theatre, Upstart Theatre, and a member of Tangled Feet.
